PREPARATION

The Easter date formula dictates that is always the first Sunday after the first full moon that falls on or after March 21.
The Orthodox Church sometimes diverges from other Christian denominations when calculating the date of Easter because the Orthodox Church bases its Easter date calculation on the Julian calendar.
