Appropriateness repair:

(говорящий осознал, что советовать человеку составить контракт было бы глупо – управляющие ресторана должны были его составить).

Выбор более удачного лексического эквивалента:

Замена из прагматических соображений: In this um in this part of the town er there are many vegetarians. Er this is because the university is here and vegetarians like it er like this restaurant (говорящий осознал, что местоимение it может относиться как к университету, так и к ресторану, и внёс правку).
