Recurrent actions (повторяющиеся действия в настоящем)
Point actions repeated a number of times!
Often, seldom, sometimes, always, never etc.
Examples:
1) “He wakes up around 6 o’clock and has a cup of tea”
2) “Masha goes to dance lessons every Saturday“

Permanent actions (постоянные, долговременные действия)
Examples:
1) “Her son works near”
2) I teach English and History at a college, and I live with my parents.
3) I hate authority. It spoils the relations between parent and child.
4) Does Dan work at the cinema?

Facts (общеизвестные факты)
Examples:
1) “The Sun stays still, and the Earth moves around it”
2) “You play chess with 32 pieces”

Just to name the action itself (просто называем действия: чувства, мысли, состояние)
Examples:
1) I like the new James Bond film
2) I seldom feel nervous before the exam.
3) I think this book is worth reading.

Succession of point actions taking place at the time of speaking (последовательность действий, происходящих в момент повествования)
STAGE DIRECTIONS:
“They shake hands. As he passes Vivie he shakes hands with her also and bids her good-night”
IN COMMENTS:
“Chi-chi is in the pen. She walks over to the traveling box. It climbs on the rock“
IN DEMONSTRATIONS:
“I peel the apples, slice them and put into the dish”
