You are not going to stay there illegally. Which means you have to prove that you have a valuable reason to come back.
Example: Ongoing studies, work, your assets, family/children, your own business etc.
That you are able to afford this travel. Bank statement with sufficient amount of money.
That you have a clear plan of your trip: Booked hotels, booked plane tickets to travel between the states/cities.
