following a fleeting star to Bethlehem. They paid tribute to the newborn Jesus and offered their symbolic gifts: gold, incense and myrrh.

the arrival of the Kings to their towns and villages. They come riding camels or on chariots in a great parade with their pages waving and giving candies.

some food and drink for the kings and camels.
On January 6th, the children get up and open their presents in the early morning.

On January 6th, many Spanish families eat the “Roscón de Reyes”, a
special cake decorated with dried and candied fruits. The cake hides a figure and a dry bean. Whoever finds the figure is crowned and becomes the "king" or "queen" of the banquet, whereas whoever finds the bean has to pay next year's roscón.
