Word-buildings of nouns and adjectives

Word formation of English words is an incredibly exciting process and is somewhat similar to the assembly of a puzzle. In English, there are two ways of word formation: word composition and word production.

Word-buildings
Derivation includes affixes (that is, prefixes and suffixes), conversions, alternating sounds and accents, and abbreviations and abbreviations of words.
Composition is when we combine several words into one

Composition
it is the union of stems or roots of two words in order to get a new word.
Ex: nouns (postman – почтальон)
Verbs (oven-bake – готовить в духовке)
Adjectives (heartbreaking – душераздирающий)
Adverbs (nevertheless – тем не менее)
Pronouns (someone – кто-то)

Derivation
Word production includes three categories:
Affixes (this includes prefixes and suffixes)
Conversion
Alternating sounds and stress
Prefix is the part of the word that comes before the root. Prefixes are most often used to change the meaning of a word and less often to change a part of speech.

Suffix stands after the root before the ending - it is easy to determine from which part of speech the word belongs.
Noun suffixes can be divided into two groups: subject suffixes and abstract nouns.
