What is the place of power
It is hard to say “what is the place of power”. It’s a place, where people feel something unusual. There people fill themselves or scared, or inspired. Nobody feels nothing there. A lot of places of power are connected with some buildings or events. May be these are magic places, or these are the places of energy concentration. Today I’ll tell you about some of them.

I think, the most popular place of power in Russia is mountain Beluha in Altai. It is the highest place in Siberia. The mountain is equidistant to 4 oceans. Local inhabitants think that it’s a holy place and they never go to Beluha. They only worship at the foot of the mountain. They think that goddess Umay lives there. Umay is one of the most revered Turkic gods. There are a lot of legends about this mountain.

Island Olhon
Olhon is an island on Baykal. It is called the heart of Baykal. Of course it is one of the most beautiful places in Russia. There is Shaman-stone on Olhon. It is a giant stone which is similar to huge shamanic headdress. It’s a holy place. Long ago people suspected of a crime were brought there and kept for one night. If the man didn’t become crazy or wasn’t killed, he was found not guilty.

There is promontory Burhan near there. It is one of 9 holy places of Asia. There is mountain called Shamanka there as well. It is famous for it’s cave. Long ago special rituals were performed there and nobody but shamans could enter it. Now there is a statue of Buddha in the cave and everybody can visit it.

Mountain Demerdzhik in Crimea.
It’s a very mystical place. Some people claim that they saw some creatures on the mountain. Superstitious people believe that if you go to Demerdzhik in foggy weather, you will never return home. But if you go there when it’s sunny, it will help you to solve your problems.

There is another mystery of Demerdzhik. It has got very strange geological structure. For example there is red granite on the mountain. But there are no other samples of red granite in all the Crimea.They say, there was a fortress on the mountain once. But it was destroyed by earthquake in XV century.

Lake Svetloyar
Lake Svetloyar is called Russian Atlantis. The legend says that a town called Kitizh was hidden under water of this lake. If you stay on the lake shore you can see fire and hear voices in the depth of Svetloyar.

Dolmens
It is hardly possible to aswear the qestions “what is this?” and “who built them?”. We can only say that these are stone buildings, which were built thousands of years ago. Scientists say that dolmens are found in special places where geoactivity increases. You can find dolmens in Caucasus near town Gelendzhik.

There are different theories about what they are. May be they are ancient observatories, tombs, aliens’ guns or houses for dwarfs? Nobody knows it sure. But a lot of people think they are magic places and go to dolmens to make wishes there.

Tare several places of power in Moscow too! Aleksandrovskiy garden is one of them. There are a lot of different talks about this place. Some people said that they heard sounds of invisible things, for example cars.(May be they didn’t notice a road near the park).

In general “places of power” is a very dubious fact. It’s something very strange. But really a lot of people believe that there is something unusual there. So I don’t think “places of power” are the someone’s fantasy. It’s really interesting and once I’d like to one of them.
