Heraldry
Heraldry (from Latin heraldus - herald) is a special historical discipline, concerned with the study of emblems, as well as the tradition and practice of using them.

Any emblem consists of a shield, this is its basement.

The coat of arms
The heraldic figure (pillar, belt, sling, head, tip, cross, rafter) -
the simplest heraldic figures is a small area of the shield, painted with a color different from the color of the shield field. The simplest emblem figures are formed as a result of the separation of the shield by several straight lines: vertical, horizontal and diagonal.

Symbolism has a great importance in heraldry. The symbolism of color in heraldry as follows:
White - means peace, nobility, supreme power;
Black - night, darkness, death, sadness;
Purple - is a sign of the highest dignity, strength, power and nobility;
Red - war, courage, bravery, fearlessness;
Golden - wealth, strength, loyalty, truth (honesty), constancy (drink from gold);
Green - hope, abundance, freedom, life (local significance);
Blue - greatness, beauty, clarity.
Gray - is the color of wisdom;
Pink - love, the eternity of life;

Similarly, stylized images of animals and plants have their own meanings:
Leo is a symbol of power, strength, courage, bravery, generosity.
Bull is a symbol of fertility, labor and patience.
Horse - combining the bravery of a lion, the vision of an eagle, the strength of a bull, the speed of a deer and the dexterity of a fox.
Dog is a symbol of devotion and obedience.
Cat is a symbol of independence.
Sheep, a lamb - a symbol of meekness
Wolf is a symbol of anger, gluttony and greed.
Bear is a symbol of forethought and strength.
Deer - a symbol of the warrior, before whom the enemy runs
Wild boar (boar) - a symbol of courage.
Elephant is a symbol of long memory.
Eagle is a symbol of power and domination, generosity and foresight.
Peacock - a symbol of vanity.
Pelican - a symbol of parental love.
Raven is a symbol of longevity.
Owl is a symbol of wisdom.
Bee is a symbol of hard work.
Ant is also a symbol of hard work.
The serpent, which may be a dragon, is a symbol of caution and wisdom; the hero struck symbolizes evil, curled up - symbolizes eternity, crawling - a symbol of sadness, contention, ingratitude, envy; drinking from the cup is a symbol of medicine.
Oak is a symbol of strength and force.
Olive tree - a symbol of peace

And these are “supporters”, they are located on the sides of the shield, as if supporting them, which is what their name came from. It could be both people and mythological animals.

Under the shield was a ribbon on which the owner's motto was written.
