December 16, 1866 in Moscow. He spent his childhood traveling around Russia and Europe, until finally, in 1871, his family settled in Odessa.
Слайд 3Here Kandinsky graduated from the gymnasium and art school, after which he
wished to master the profession of a lawyer at Moscow University, where he entered in 1885.
Слайд 4Kandinsky began painting only at the age of thirty. Having decided to
become an artist, in 1896 he left science and went to Munich to study a new craft. There Kandinsky attended the studio of Anton Azhbe (1897-1899), and in 1900 entered the local Academy of Arts. However, the training did not prevent the artist from traveling in France, Italy and Africa.

where he became a teacher.In 1911, Kandinsky's first solo exhibition took place.In Berlin, he began teaching painting at the Bauhaus school, still actively engaged in creativity.

on December 13, 1944, in the Paris suburb of Neuilly-sur-Seine. At that time, the artist was 77 years old.
