The British Dog Show is called Crufts. It takes place
every March in Birmingham, and it is 119 years old! Crufts is gigantic. It has been recognised by the Guiness Book of Records as the largest show in the world. It lasts 4 days and attracts dog lovers from all the continents.

over the country (even police officers, teachers and celebrities wear red clone noses, do silly stupid things and raise a lot of money for charity.

this old English saying is quite true nowdays. A few people in England find a great occasion for showing hats. The opportunity to demonstrate new hats is Royal Ascot where we can see the members of the royal family and special guests.
