Belgorod Academic drama Shepkin’s theater
Belgorod Academic theater named after M.S. Schepkin. It was founded in August, 1936. The theater is carried the name of a native Belgorod citizent, Russian actor, Mihail Semenovich Schepkin. The reconstruction of theater was recently made. Now it is one of the most beautiful and well equipped theaters in Russia.

Belgorod state historiko-kraevedcheskiy museum - one of the eldest establishments of culture. It was opened in October, 25, 1924. we can enjoy the history there. There are many different exibitions in it.

Belgorod state art museum - one of the youngest art museums in Russia. It was opened for the visitors in July, 26, 1983. There are about 4 000 works in the museum. We can see mainly the modern work of our painters. It's a marvellous sight!

Belgorod literature museum
The Belgorod literature museum is the oldest buildings in our city. It was House of Selivanov. It was built in18 centure. More than 1000 works are presented in the museum. There are works of popular writers in the Museum, for example Pushkin,Chehov, we can see ancient books and old furniture.

Monument to Shuttles
A monument is set in the center of Belgorod. It was opened in November, 2007. Composition is made from bronze. Its three meters height .It's one of a kind!

Preobrazhenskiy cathedral
Preobrazhenskiy cathedral is an orthodox cathedral in Belgorod,is built in 1813. A stone cathedral was built in honour victory of the Russian troops over Napoleon. There are two main sacred objects in the Preobrazhenskiy cathedral. imperishable earthly remains of Svyatitelya Ioasafa and miraculous icon of Nickolay Ratnogo, which is more than 500 years.

Smolenskiy cathedral
Smolenskiy cathedral - one of the eldest temples, saved to our days. It was built in place of the phenomenon of miraculous icon Smolensk God's Mother, which happened in 1703 on the wall of south city gate. In 1705 a wooden church was burned down and in 1727 was rebuilt in stone.

Sun-clock
Sun-clock is placed in the centre of our town. The construction is made from a granite and bronze with the clock-face of 11-meter diameter. Sun-clock in the day-time shows time, and at night are the most bright constellations which are visible in the north hemisphere of Earth. It's one of a kind!
