Erected in just 10 years - the Colosseum has remained the guard of history forever. The Colosseum is built on the site of an artificial lake and amazes with its size. Two half-rings of stone and cement are joined together, taking the form of an oval of impressive dimensions - 524 meters. The length of the arena is more than 85 m, and the width is 54 m.
