My Native Town is Tambov

Tambov was founded in 1636. This is a small city where live about 300 thousand people. Such famous people as Chicherin, Dzerzhinsky, Sergeev-Tsensky and others were born in Tambov. Every year the city is being improved and it becomes more beautiful.

Tambov has a large number of beautiful churches and temples. The most popular place in Tambov is the Park of Culture and Recreation. It is very pleasant to walk and relax there.

You can also choose the Arbat for walking. Residents of Tambov usually call Kommunalnaya Street as «Tambov Arbat». Many buildings here were founded in the beginning of the twentieth century, where shops and cafeterias are now located.

If you want to learn more about the cultural side of Tambov, visit the Aseev House Museum. There you can dance at the balls and arrange a musical evening listening to live classical music.

I also advise you to visit the main street of Tambov Internationalnaya street, on it there is a monument to Lenin, many old buildings, popular shops and cafes. You can have a wonderful time there.
