“In the mirror of a lake” – This book is the outcome of a joint co-operation between Dutch, Estonian and Russian specialists. From 2003 to 2006, they compared two of the largest shallow lakes in Europe with a focus on ecological functioning.

2 comprehensive inventories of green areas in Pskov & Rezekne, greenery identified and 2 databases prepared
2 new green areas management systems for Pskov & Rezekne (Tartu’s system updated)
4 sets of technical documents for creation / restoration of green areas: Tartu – “Reconstruction of the Mathiesen Park” (2.4 ha); Pskov – “Restoration of the Botanic Garden” (6,4 ha); Rezekne City – “Reconstruction of North Industrial Zone Park” (2,5 ha), Rezekne Municipality – “Development of Greivuli Recreation Path” (2 km)
4 large-scale urban green areas created: the Arboretum (DendroPark) in the center of Pskov restored (5 ha); the Friendship Alley in the center of Tartu created (1 ha); eco-friendly Children’s recreation Area in Raina Park in Rezekne City reconstructed (0,6 ha), the Ancupani Forest Park Cover in Rezekne Local Municipality improved (9,48 ha)
