Date of the foundation
The official date of the foundation of the University is June 19, 1994.

Integrated into the Khakas State University
In 1994 the Abakan State Pedagogical Institute and a number of different types of institutions of secondary education were integrated into the Khakas State University named after N.F. Katanov. And in the summer of 2019 the University celebrated its 25th anniversary.

Birthday!
In September, 2019 our college celebrated its 90-s anniversary and received congratulations of hundreds of its grateful graduates from all over Russia and abroad

That’s beautiful!
The college is a three-storeyed building situated in the centre of the town now. It has four departments: the department of Primary Education, the department of Preschool Education, the department of Law, and the department of Information Science and Office Work.

Scholarship
The students studying fee-paying don’t get scholarships. Those who study free of charge and make good progress in their study can get a grant. In some cases there is also a possibility to be transformed from fee-paying to free form of education for students with active social and scientific position and high educational rate.

Information Science
The students of the information science specialities study Sciences, social subjects, informational subjects and physical education. Professional training includes the following: Information science, Higher Mathematics, Programming, Basics of Algorythmization and Programming, Basics of Operating Systems and Environmentals, Architecture of Electronic Calculating Machines and Calculating Systems, Computer Networks, Information Technologies, Computer Graphics and Web-design, Mobile Application Development, Management for professional activity, Foreign Language for professional activity and other. #
