Internship in the “English Planet”
It not only language courses, but also translated other materials. My supervisor was Vicky Trofimenko. She is a teacher and translator on language courses. Ended a few universities, such as KSU, Cambidge, Caplan University. The internship was during 8 weeks since 23.01.17 till 18.03.17.

During internship I have translated 8 texts, from Russian into English and from English into Russian. All texts were Technical, publicistic, medical, economical and scientific styles. All my translations were checked, corrected and discussed by my supervisor. The most difficult texts were: The annex from Medical book, because a lot of medical terms and words such as puerperal sepsis is not like пурепереальный, it translated like послеродовый сепсис.
The most difficult theme for me was Lexical Transformation: Lexical addition:
George MacGovern’s 1972 economic program turned into a vote-losing albatross. Экономическая программа Макговерна обернулась для него неудачей и привела к потере голосов избирателей.

In my conclusion, I really liked the internship. It wa very interesting and useful for me. Overall, my internship at courses has been a success. I was able to gain practical skills. I think that this Internship gave me a lot of experience which might help me in future and thanks to this translation I realized how important the translation deal is and how it’s difficult.
