MR-J2S
MR-J2S has been sold since 1999 for 13 years and contributed largely in expanding global market share.
However, Nagoya Works need to discontinue MR-J2S series due to the difficultness of getting components and negative effect on production efficiency.
Basic policy is to replace MR-J2S with MR-J4
There are products developed which gives the customers an easy way to replace it

MR-J2S Production Discontinuation Schedule
1. Transition to Production-By-Order
The last day of production is August 2014.
After the transition has been made to "Production-By-Order", the products are expected to be delivered in 8 to 10 weeks after the order has been received.
2. Production Discontinuation
August 2015
Production orders are accepted until the last day of August 2015.
3. Repair Acceptance and Parts Order Acceptance
August 2022
Repair and parts orders are accepted until the last day of August 2022.

The set of MR-J4-B-RJ020 and MR-J4-T20 is compatible with the following servo system controllers:
A171SHCPU(N), A172SHCPU(N), A173UHCPU, A1SD75M, QD75M, Q172CPU(N), Q173CPU(N)
MR-J4-_B_-RJ020 servo amplifiers have “MR-J2S” compatibility mode which means all functions are compatible with the previous functions of the MR-J2S-B series
The encoder resolution of HG series servo motors will be 131072 pulses/rev (17 bit) when MR-J2S compatibility mode is used
MR-J4-B-RJ020 is available in the following capacities:
200 V: 0.1 kW to 7 kW
400 V: 0.6 kW to 7 kW
