Flying high-speed self-driving cars are especially useful for ambulance services, firefighters and police. It's hard to imagine how many human lives they can save. Now people think of such cars as a mere fiction from science fiction, but in fact, the time for such passenger drones can come very quickly.
We may not see those flying cars that were described in science fiction books, but perhaps in real life we will get something better.

For many decades, scientists and engineers have been dreaming about the imminent release of cars with a hydrogen engine. And the first successful attempts to create vehicles that run on this type of fuel even exist. And the company Mercedes-Benz hopes that in 2025 will begin mass production of hydrogen cars Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force. The Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force looks like an oversized SUV, a bit like an already obsolete Hummer. That's just under the hood of this car lurks not a huge, wasteful gasoline engine, but an engine that runs on an environmentally friendly type of fuel-hydrogen. According to the idea of its creators, the Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force is equipped with a special water tank that can not only store it, but also collect it during the rains. It is this liquid that the car will use for movement — it must be converted into oxygen in special fuel cells.

Many car manufacturers took part in the development of virtual cars for the game Gran Turismo 6. Most of these cars are destined to remain in the game. This fate has already been avoided by the Mercedes AMG Vision Gran Turismo supercar, which was still built, however, as a full-scale model. And now there is interesting information — the supercar will be launched in small-scale production. This step was taken by the American firm J&S World Wide Holdings. The car will be built on the basis of the Mercedes SLS AMG GT coupe. From the same model, the novelty will get a power unit. The supercar will be powered by a 591-horsepower V8 6.3, paired with a "robot". In total, it is planned to release five copies of the unusual two-door.

The company Mercedes-Benz showed the" four-door coupe " GT Concept-the prototype of the new car from the AMG GT line. This is the first road car with the EQ Power + designation, which will be used in all Mercedes-AMG plug-in hybrid models. The design of the new Mercedes-AMG GT Concept is designed in the same style as the serial AMG GT coupe. The prototype is devoid of conventional mirrors – instead of these elements in the front fenders, rear-view cameras are installed. Another distinctive feature of the fastback is a large trunk door, which, according to the developers of Mercedes-AMG from Affalterbach, will make the commercial version of the model convenient for everyday use. The powerplant of the Mercedes-AMG GT Concept consists of a V8 4.0 petrol biturbo engine, an electric motor on the rear axle and a traction battery. The combined power of the system is 805 hp. The prototype accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h "faster than three seconds". At the same time, the unit is capable of operating in fully electric mode for short trips in urban mode. The batteries can be charged using the recovery system borrowed from the "formula" cars.

Mercedes-Benz has announced the revival of its Maybach brand, presenting images of the new Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 electric car in the coupe body. The car with a length of more than 5.5 meters received four electric motors with a total capacity of 738 horsepower, which will allow the vehicle to accelerate to 100 km / h in less than 4 seconds. Despite its power, the electric car still remains quite energy-efficient, with a power reserve of more than 300 kilometers on a single battery charge. In addition, when charging on special devices, Mercedes managed to charge the car for a distance of 100 kilometers in just five minutes. The interior of the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 is also innovative. The technical filling also corresponds to the futuristic design. The car does not have a traditional dashboard, all the necessary information is displayed on the touch screen and the windshield of the car.
