Galymbek Abishev and Marat Abdulkayyrov together with the teacher of informatics have designed a hand artificial limb for the child who was born without fingers. “The idea to create such artificial limb has appeared at me after a meeting with this child. The artificial limb will function as a full-fledged hand – fingers will move. We have created him by means of the 3D printer. Now we wait from Almaty for the last detail for completion of work which will replace joints”, - Erkhan Mindetbayev has told. Parents of the eight-year-old boy have already agreed to establishing an artificial limb to the child.

How skin cells could help fight cancer?
Scientists say they have made a "groundbreaking discovery" in the field of cancer treatment: a way to transform skin cells into stem cells that can target and destroy brain cancer.

Researchers from University of Northern Carolina have offered a new way of fight against glioblastomy - the most common and deadly form of a tumor of a brain. They have created the technology allowing to destroy the illness centers by means of the cells of skin reprogrammed in stem.
During research scientists have reprogrammed the cells of skin under the name of a fibroblasta producing collagen and turned them into the induced neural stem cells.
These cages have been tested on mice from glioblastomy. Tests have revealed "knack" at stem cells, moving on all brain, "to track down" and destroy the remained cancer cells. Also they can make the special TRAIL protein capable to kill a tumor and, thus, increasing their anticarcinogenic abilities.
In general scientists managed to increase survival of experimental mice for 160-220 percent, depending on tumor type which animals had. In the future experts intend to conduct research with human stem cells.
