The first students of the vocational school
When the vocational school was founded, the working professions for
telephone communications were in great demand. The first graduates of the
vocational school of communication were communication installers (монтажники связи), telephone equipment installers (монтажники телефонного оборудования), post office specialists (операторы почтовой связи) and others.

The Museum of Communication
There is an own museum here. The Museum of Communication has a long and rich history. It was founded by the offer of Physics teacher Maya Igorevna Lobantseva in 1987. She was a museum director for many years.

The museum has more than 600 exhibits: postcards, letters, stamped envelopes, foreign and Russian telegraph devices, radiotelephone equipment of the war years, radio stations.
The main sections of museum are: "Development of mail", "Telegraph", "Development of telephone communications", "Radio and radio broadcasting", "Development of television in the Vologda region“

The Club of Radio Amateurs (любителей)
In 1980s the club of radio amateurs was founded. It`s located in the hostel of the college. The leader of it for many years is Joseph Grigoryevich Dorfmann.

every year and get medals and prizes.

The Vologda College of Communication an IT
The former vocational school №30 became the college in 2011. Now it is one of the best educational establishments in the Vologda Region.
1086 students study here now.

The college has two buildings now. The second building is
for the first – year students. It is a spacious well-equipped building with all the facilities.

The college has many activities of various types. For example, students take part in different conferences, Olympiads, Worldskills Championships and various sports competitions.

Since 2015 students of the Vologda College of Communication and IT take part in the movement Worldskills Russia. They take gold, silver and bronze medals at every regional championship.
Last year our student Yulia Krasikova presented our college at the National Worldskills Championship and was awarded the silver medal in the competence Internet Marketing. It was a great success!
