Могут стоять перед словом:
I have a red car.
Или после него:
My house is old.
Не изменяются по роду, числу и падежу
Small boy, small girl, small children
- Простые (без суффиксов и приставок)
Left, happy, red
- Производные (есть суффиксы и/или приставки)
helpful, international, unreasonable
- Сложные состоят из двух или более основ:
colour-blind , snow-white

This red car is newer than that black car.
Volga is the longest river.

К многосложным прилагательным добавляются слова more (более) и the most (самый):
German is more difficult than English.
This armchair is the most comfortable.

The weather today is better than yesterday.
She is a year older than our darling Laura. This film was the worst.

3. Go and pick an apple from (near) tree.
4. Tokyo is (big) city in the world.
5. Rebecca is (nice) than Jane.

1. Артикль или другой определитель (a, the, his)
2. Оценка, мнение (good, bad, terrible, nice)
3. Размер (large, little, tiny)
4. Возраст (new, young, old)
5. Форма (square, round)
6. Цвет (red, yellow, green)
7. Происхождение (French, lunar, American, eastern, Greek)
8. Материал (wooden, metal, cotton, paper)
9. Предназначение (sleeping)
