Americans can be limited in their knowledge, because they aren't interested in the world

Stereotype No. 3: All the Americans are greedy
All the matter is that Americans appreciate money - for them one dollar or hundred have identical value.

Stereotype No. 4: all the Americans are friendly and always smiling
Friendliness of the average American is measured by two things - his smile and phrase «excuse me».

This old-fashioned tradition no longer exists for 99% of English people. It is an old tradition associated with the upper classes and today few people stick to a particular “tea-drinking timetable”.

The English are polite
It is true that politeness and good manners are very important to English people but there is a darker, hidden side to this aspect of Englishness.

I don’t think the English are snobs but they are definitely proud and perhaps have a tendency to be judgemental towards other nations’ ways of doing things.

A lot of english jokes are based on wordplay and involve extensive knowledge of local culture, history and famous figures or celebrities.

Let’s talk about Russian people!

Stereotype 1. Russian women will marry anyone
because they desperately want to get out of Russia

Stereotype 2. Russian men are all alcoholics and like to abuse women.
This is very far from the truth. There are plenty of decent men in Russia.

Stereotype 4. All Russians drink vodka.
This is just a myth. Many women and some men can’t stand vodka.

Stereotype 5. Russia is very cold
First of all, Russia is huge. It has 12 time zones and is the biggest country of the world. It is not all cold. Much of European Russia has cold winters and warm summers.
