In 1959 in Dzerzhinsk there was a building with snow-white columns, made in the best traditions of classicism – the Palace of culture of chemists.

DZERZHINSK PUPPET THEATER
The theater was founded in 1988, the main Director was Vladimir Kazachenko, at that time — Honored artist of the Republic of Mordovia. The puppet theater settled in the building of the old drama theater, after its reconstruction. Dzerzhinsk puppet theater is known far beyond the Nizhny Novgorod region.

CHURCH OF THE ANNUNCIATION.
The Church was built in 1878 with the money of the merchant of the first Guild Stepan Petrovich Solin. It was consecrated in 1879.
