Iskitimovedenie
We study this subject. And who, if not we, pupils of school №8 can tell everything, how this book was created, and how we discovered the native town and its places of interests! Certainly, if have not such remarkable teacher, who helped us in all our undertakings, we couldn't do this work.

The author of the book
The graduator of our school, nowadays is the candidate of pedagogical sciences, Mitrofanova Julia Vladimirovna, has undertaken this uneasy work. The remarkable creative woman, she together with the group of the guys bypassed all places of our region and town.
Now pupils of school №8 with pride can tell «Only we have such lesson - Iskitimovedenie!»

The creation of the book lasted 5 years. Julia Vladimirovna was created this book with the group of “Kraeved". The circle used improbable popularity. The circle was very popular. We have scored grand for analysis of native region.
The materials of the book can be useful not only for teachers, but also who is interested by a history and modern life of Iskitim. The pupils of our school can say with the pride “The author of the book is not only Yulia Vladimirovna, but also we are !” Actually, it is so, you`ll see we helped her in creation of this book.
History of creation

History of town
Officially the birth of the town is accepted to consider in 1717 year, when the formation of the first Russian settlements: Koinovo, Chernorechka, also Thorn - is new (hardly later in 1719 the village Vylkovo) was formed. The occurrence of these villages, which have merged in town later, is the first birth of Iskitim.

Komsomolskaya square
The heart of town – Komsomolskaya square. About 60 years back on this place there were groves, bog, lake, where hunted on ducks. An the beginning of the 20th century the square was built. Since then the main square in Iskitim does not change.

Monument of glory
May 9, 1981 on the square have opened a memorial war, lost in Great Domestic war. The monument is constructed under the project, above which the architects Iskitim worked: B.V. Derevenski, N.P.Metelica, S.V. Bogomolov. The project developed over two years. For this time nine variants of various breadboard models and set of the sketches were created. Some enterprises of town participated in construction of a memorial. At the centre of a structure on a background of a wall - sculptural composition. Its author - Novosibirsk sculptor M.I.Melnikov.

Izvestnyakovaya clod
In 1987, on Komsomolskoy square the memorable mark Iskitim was established. Iskitim a symbol, as though is specially created by a nature, it have established practically without preliminary processing, how have got from career. Izvestnyakovi the torch of weight 40 tons personifies birth Iskitim as towns of building industry, which development is connected to a clod.

Monument Lenin
In town centre along the street Komsomolskaya there is a monument V.I.Lenin. It is an alone monument, which one was not demolished in time of “perestroika“.

Chapel
The youngest and the most beautiful structure on Komsomolskaya square is the chapel. Many icons are stored in it.

Park I.V. Koroteeva
In 1937 in the center of the town was found this park.It is situated on the area of 12,5 hectares. Its main sight – the monument of I.V.Koroteev. In the park there are different entertainments for the people of different ages.

Museum
The museum was found in 1976 . In halls of the museum - 7 thousand exibits of a storage, collection of scientific, ethnographic materials, photos and documentary materials of the history of the region, participants of civil and Great World War, organizers of the first collective farms. There is a literary hall which devoted to the great actor and write V.Shukshin. Here you can see his photos, letters, documentary materials.

Is it true that Iskitim – “ a town building towns”?
The main feature is that Iskitim has own raw base. The largest enterprise of building industry of town – cement a factory “Iskitimcement”. This factory is most important of town. “Iskitimcement" - sole cement a factory in territory of Novosibirsk region. “Iskitimcement" by results of work in 2001 is handed Trade Leader`s Club and Golden Trophy For Quality. The solemn rewarding was held in Paris. The winners of the Award became 171 enterprises from the different countries. In building branch three applied for reception of the international award cement of a factory: from the Incorporated Arabian Emirates, Iran, Russia represented " Iskitimcement". Under the decision of organizational committee the GOLD PRIZE " FOR QUALITY " has got Iskitim cement to a factory.

Acknowledgement hypothesis
Intensively develops " Iskitim slate factory ". On results of 1999 the factory was awarded at the Siberian fair with a small gold medal. On results of 2000 - that the growth of volumes of manufacture has made 46 % during an economic crisis - the large Gold medal of the Siberian fair is awarded already.
The export sales of slate are increased, so in 2003 year in structure of shipment of the enterprise only on Kazakhstan it was necessary 24 % of a revolutions. Besides Iskitim of slate take out in other regions of Novosibirsk region, Altai territory, Tajikistan.

Genadi Georgievich Maksimov was born in 1936 in Novosibirsk region. In Iskitim has lived since 1938. The author of the books about Iskitim.

Our school
We study at school №8. We have a lot of interests: we go to vocal lessons, dances in style Hip-Hop and is profound we investigate English. Lysine is fond of karate, journalistic and French. We like our school very much!

School museum
Our school has a museum - the history of school. Here we can look through all our history during the 55 years. There are many popular people who has graduated our school!

School education
At our school 34 rooms. In computer class we use the Internet. As I study English language, through the Internet and e-mail we can it practice and communicate with the guys from different countries!!! The student of our school Velikoivanenko Dasha has won competition of the American councils “Flex” and one year she has studyed in the USA, town Hobbs. We`ve communicated not only with her, but with other American schools.

Leisure time at school
There is a school newspaper «The Youth bulletin» where everyone can write the materials and became the correspondents.
At our school there is «The Studio of Reporter» where the pupil can not only write, but independently make the interview, which will show on local TV TVK-1. We are proud – it is only at our school.

Conclusion
Our town is developing, produces building materials, so our hypotheses - Is it true that Iskitim –
“ a town building towns” – true!
