Why we read books in English?

We read books in English because:
We wanted to make our knowledge of English better
We learn a lot of new words and phrases
It makes our speech better
It makes our grammar better
We learn about people`s manners in Britain
We learn about different customs and traditions in Britain

A little about the book
«Alice in wonderland» was written in 1865 by the English author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll. It tells us about a girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit hole into a fantasy world populated by fairy creatures. The story is popular with adults as well as children.
