In the area of the Bay of Balaclava, 30 km from Sevastopol, there is a mountain Ilyas-Kaya, which was previously the St. Elias monastery, founded by the Greeks in the middle of the XII century. From the monastery remained only part of the basement. And below on the rise to the top of the mountain, there is a place called by the people "Seven fingers" or "Temple of the Sun".

The Genoese fortress were built in the middle ages by the Genoese. In Crimea there are three fortresses, the Foundation of which was laid by this people.

Incredible cave in the Crimea is located on the lower plateau of the massif Chatyr-Dag. It was discovered in 1987 Simferopol cavers.
