First of all, let’s answer some of my questions.
Do it in writing.

4) What kind of information can people get from newspapers and magazines?

Now it’s high time to learn new words. It’s ex. 4 p. 54. Read and write down them into your vocabularies. Listen to the tape-recorder!
Read and translate orally under the letter B.

1) to fail to do smth- провалиться в попытке делая что-либо
2) to fail an exam – провалить экзамен
3) to say smth in a whisper or in whispers – говорить шепотом
