Is war is the only way to resolve conflict?

War is the barbaric activity which only concludes in the loss of life and property. The violence of war is life threatening which can never resolve any dispute. Both the parties practicing war ends in social and economic loss as it is said by john S.C Abbott that “War is the science of destruction” The one involved in war only end up in loss of lives socially and economically therefore the peaceful talks would be more beneficial to solve the disputes.
Every war generates a new war because defeated country can never live in peace .Its human nature. I would say that war will be solution to a problem if the defeated country is complacently destroyed and no one is alive to think about a revenge.This will never happen .
Its better to solve problem by mutual consent and discussion.

Can war bring peace?

War is a state of conflict between different societies or countries. The general cause of war is the difference in opinions. War is not the only way to bring peace. There are many alternative ways such as negotiating to terms which are reasonable for both the countries and hence resolving the problem.

They have proved that wars cause major suffering and in fact, the only reason that World War I ended was that most of the countries involved were exhausted and fed up, and begged their leaders for a ceasefire to be called. Wars would be endless if it was not for humanity's own limits.
Think about it - if we had unlimited resources, would wars ever end? We'll never reach peace by fighting. In fact, peace seems to be the last thing we're ever going to achieve.
