“National Character seen in sayings and proverbs”

We use a lot of proverbs and sayings, when we speak, even not thinking, what they can say about our national character. So I decided to find out, if it is was true.
But I also had another aims, which were not the general ones, but were also important and they are:
1.Find out common qualities of the nations
2.Understand people of these nations better through a research

I chose four European nations they are:
Russians Germans
Englishmen French

And Kabardians

Russian national qualities
Hard-working Kindness
Condemnation of laziness Hospitality
but not an appeal
to working Patience
Sympathy for poor people Resignation to fate
Condemnation of wealth Braveness
Love of freedom Distrust of law

Hard working

Laziness

Sympathy for poor people

Condemnation of wealth

Love of freedom

I found out, that it is able to understand the main qualities of the nation, studying its proverbs and sayings, but you can’t understand its people so. You must speak and learn many other things about these nation to understand its people.
