Arthur Conan Doyle
He is a world famous Scottish and English writer - author of detective works on Sherlock Holmes. Arthur was born in 1859 in Edinburgh.His parents were architect and artist. Conan Doyle said, "True love of literature, the propensity for writing,I think of the mother."In 1885 Conan Doyle married Louise Hawkins, who suffered from tuberculosis and died in 1906. In 1907, Doyle married Jeanie Lecky.He had five children. Conan Doyle died of a heart attack July 7, 1930 at his home in Crowborough.
