THE NESVIZH CASTLE
There is a terrible mystery in ancient Nesvizh Castle, the family's nest of famous Belorussian magnate Radziwill. People regularly see a ghost of poisoned Barbara Radziwill – the young wife of the King of Poland Zigimont August.

Historians do not deny that Barbara Radziwill was a woman of beauty and education, but mother of Zigimont – Bona Sforca hated her.
According to legend, Barbara Radziwill was poisoned by the king's mother. King continued to love Barbara, missed her, and once decided to call her spirit. When the ghost of his dead wife came, he could not resist, and embraced an expensive vision, what he was strongly recommended not to do. Since then, the ghost can not leave the castle, and forced to wander forever in its corridors. The ghost of Barbara usually comes at 1 a.m.
The tragic story of Barbara Radziwill was immortalized in the poem "Chorna panna Nyasvizha" by a famous playwright Aleksei Dudarev. The play is a regularly staged in Kupala Theater

THE MIR CASTLE
It is believed that the Mir Castle has no mystery. However, it would be strange that this legendary castle overlooked supernatural forces.
Thus, the local boys always talk about the ghost in the form of a woman who lives in the white tower. Even though the ghost did not appear for a long time, passing the night by the castle walls, the inhabitants of the Mir can not help noticing the move. The Ghost was given the name of Sonia. It is believed that Sonia - is the spirit of Sofia Sviatopolk-Secular, which was buried in the early XX century in the family tomb.
Behind the castle we can find the grave of Sophia.

One more thing that is interesting in the castle is the pond. A beautiful apple orchard grew in old times here. The owner of the castle Sviatopolk-Mir in May 1898 ordered to cut down the apple trees when they were in bloom, and to dig a lake in this place. But it’s bad tradition to cut trees in blossom. So the pond was cursed and since then a man drowns every year here.
