X Ambassadors released their new album called “The Beautiful Liar”

“The Beautiful Liar” album background
On June 11, 2021, the band released a new song titled "My Own Monster", which was also announced to be the lead single off their upcoming third studio album The Beautiful Liar. "Okay" was released as the second single on July 30, 2021, while "Adrenaline" was released as the third single on August 13, 2021. The album was released on September 24, 2021. A tour for the record is set to begin in October 2021.

Here’s a cynical hypothesis: Harris (frontman of X Ambassadors) and his bandmates figured that LPs of breakup songs are a dime a dozen in pop music, so they gussied up “The Beautiful Liar” to make it look like a concept album about… coming of age. The darkness that dwells inside us all. And some other pop-psychology truism.
Sam Nelson Harris mentioned in a statement for the video to “Adrenaline”:
“Usually, I’m pretty good at keeping it together, but when I was working on this album, I felt like I was LOSING MY DAMN MIND,” he said.
