VICTORIA REVEALED.
Immerse yourself in the public and private life of Britain’s longest reigning monarch. Featuring many personal objects, displayed in rooms where she once lived, and told through extracts from her own letters and diaries. Learn about Queen Victoria and the different roles she played queen, wife, mother and widow in this moving exhibition.

QUEEN VICTORIA
Queen Victoria (Alexandrina Victoria; 24 May 1819 – 22 January 1901) was the monarch of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from 20 June 1837 until her death. From 1 May 1876, she used the additional title of Empress of India.
She inherited the throne at the age of 18, after her father’s three elder brothers had all died, leaving no legitimate, surviving children.
Victoria married her first cousin, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and GothaVictoria married her first cousin, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, in 1840. Their nine children married into royal and noble families across the continent, tying them together and earning her the nickname "the grandmother of Europe". After Albert's death in 1861, Victoria plunged into deep mourning and avoided public appearances.

QUEEN’S STATE APARTMENTS.
Explore these intimate rooms which have hidden clues and secrets to be discovered through a new theatrical installation. Lift the curtain on the lives of William 3, Mary 2, Queen Anne and Anne's little son William, the last member of the Stuart dynasty. Learn that they were a private family, with many personal, and at times, heart-rending secrets.

KING’S STATE APARTMENTS.
Follow in the footsteps of courtiers from the past though these sumptuous state rooms. Take in some of the most breathtaking examples of the work of architect and painter William Kent,such as the Cupola Room and King’s Grand Staircase. We invite you to see flamboyant examples of 18th-century court dress and try your luck at. The Game of the Court’-a secret game of court intrigue.

NEW GARDENS.
Explore the newly landscaped gardens, inspired by the famous lawns that existed in the 18th-centry, relax in the wild flower meadow and stroll down the Wiggly Walk . Discover the majestic, 17th-century inspired, Sunken Garden and wander though the restored Cradle Walk offering unmatched views of the palace and gardens.

THE ORANGERY.
Spoil yourself and enjoy a leisurely lunch or an indulgent afternoon tea while you admire the tranquil splendor of Queen Anne’s Orangery, once the setting for the most lavish of court entertainments.
