Sean, whose real name is Song Hyun, was born on June 18, 1992 in one of the northernmost areas of Seoul. He began his path to fame at JYP Entertainment, becoming an intern in 2008. Two years later, the guy moved to Starship Entertainment, where he trained for another four years.
In 2014, the guy became one of the twelve participants in the No Mercy survival show. Under the strict guidance of Starship Entertainment stars and trainers, the guys improved their skills and fought for a place in MONSTA X.
Having shown all his sides and colors, Sean was given the opportunity to become the leader of MONSTA X. And on May 14, 2015, the guys officially debuted with the single “Tresspass”, which finished fifth in the music charts. Pretty good for a debut single.

As a child, he was engaged in swimming and played the piano.
He came to the entertainment industry as an aljan model, he was also a model for 'BigPai' and 'BubbleStyle'. (Olcan - this is the name of people with a bright and attractive appearance).
In 2012 he signed a contract with Starship Entertainment agency, from that moment the guy began an internship, dancing and vocal training. In 2014, he took part in the TV show "No Mercy", at which Starship Entertainment, together with Mnet, presented their 12 interns, including Wonho. The struggle began for a place in the men's hip-hop group, the participants performed weekly showing their skills in dancing and singing. Having passed the selection, Wonho takes 5th place, and is a member of the Monsta X group, becoming a full-fledged approved member.

On May 27th, a new episode of “We Bare Bears” aired in which the animated MONSTA X appeared.
