Jacoby Dakota Sheddiks (born Jacoby Dakota Shaddix, p. July 28, 1976, Mariposa, CA) - lead singer of Papa Roach. Also known by the pseudonyms Coby Dick (used it on the album, Infest, until 2001), Johnny Vodka and Dakota Gold. In 2002-2004 worked on a side project - post-hardkor/metal-gruppoy Fight the Sky, where he used the alias John Doe. Also some time Sheddiks was host of the show Scarred channel MTV.

Jacoby Sheddiks Vakavillskoy attended high school in Vacaville with Dave Buckner, where he played the clarinet in the school orchestra.
With 17 years Jacoby worked dishwasher and guard the hospital to have the money to rent an apartment for two with a friend. This continued until 1999, when Jacoby finally decided to devote himself to music
