the father of Russian cosmonautics. On October 4, 1957 experienced designer Korolev together with scientists developed and launched the world's first artificial earth satellite.

Тhe next invention, which surprised the whole world, was automatic spacecraft launched
to the moon, the purpose of which was to deliver the USSR pennant to the moon, as well as photographing the reverse (invisible) sides of the moon.

orbit with a man on board on April 12, 1961, this event made the USSR the first country which send a man into space.

could stay for a long time without spacesuits, as well as conduct research.
