accuracy and rationality of selection of lexical resources, the ability to find a middle ground without going to unnecessary extremes. Mariana Prokopovych also worked in the field of lexicography. Together with Lorenzo Pompeo she made small Italian-Ukrainian and Ukrainian-Italian dictionary.
