The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a British charity organization which protects animals. The society was founded in 1824 to stop cruel treatment of animals. It campaigned through out the 19th century for government action and this resulted in the protection of Animals Act,1911. It depends mainly on donations.

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds is a voluntary organization (charity) in Britain founded in 1889 with the aim of protecting wild birds. It has over 200,000 members.

Mother Teresa was famous for donating all her life to charity. She helped poor people in different countries. She volunteered those in need with food and medical care. She was also famous for setting up the Missionary of Charity. In 1978,the Nobel Peace Prize Committee decided to award Mother Teresa for her care about needy people.

Dear Mr. Andropov,
My name is Samantha Smith. I am ten years old. Congratulations on your new job. I have been worrying about Russia and the United States getting into a nuclear war. Are you going to vote to have a war or not? If you aren't please tell me how you are going to help to not have a war. This question you do not have to answer, but I would like to know why you want to conquer the world or at least our country. God made the world for us to live together in peace and not to fight.
