ReWalk is an exoskeleton — a set of electrically powered braces (подтяжки) that strap to the user’s legs and use computers and motion sensors to control his movements

The ReWalk rig (снаряжение)
the motorized leg braces,
a backpack with a control computer and lithium-ion batteries

The ReWalk rig:
a motion sensor strapped to the side of the chest
the electric motors at the hip and knee joints lift and lower his legs, their movements controlled by the backpack computer, which is programmed to simulate the human gait (походку)

ReWalk is designed for a top speed of about 1.3 miles per hour, fast enough to make it safely across an intersection (перекрёсток) before the light changes
