University of Ostrava.
Слайд 5Charles University
By far the most popular, iconic and top-end is the
Charles University (Univerzita Karlova). It has not one, but three medical faculties. It is safe to say that the faculties of this university are prestige, high status, centuries-old history and famous graduates. There are just a lot of reasons to enroll here.
In order to enter Charles University, you must first of all nostrify (certify) a certificate of complete secondary education. In addition, you need to pass the state exam in the Czech language at a level not lower than B2. This academic year, representatives of the university even stated that they would accept applicants with a level of knowledge of the C1 language.

A good alternative to the famous Charles University is Masarykova univerzita.
The medical faculty appeared here in 1919, so you can also count on the glorious traditions and professionalism of teachers. The university is literally "stuffed" with modern equipment: there are auditoriums, laboratories, an anatomical museum, a huge library, equipped with the latest technology.
By the way, the University Hospital is located next to the hostel - an excellent place for internship. By applying here, you can be sure that after graduation you will have a good career, backed up by solid knowledge and practice.

No less
popular in Europe is the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Palacky in Olomouc (Univerzita Palackého v Olomouci). This is where most foreign students go. It also uses modern technologies such as telemedicine (for live TV broadcasts from the operating room). After undergraduate studies, you can enroll in a master's or doctoral program. Palacky University is worth choosing for those planning to study diagnostics, therapy, disease occurrence and epidemiology.

The spirit of
youth soars in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ostrava (Technická univerzita Ostrava). And it is not surprising, because this is the youngest medical faculty in the Czech Republic. As the heads of the university assure, the specialty of the university is not only good technical equipment, but also an individual approach to teaching each student. Training takes place in English and Czech.
Слайд 9Entrance exams: what to prepare for?
A voucher to the Faculty of Medicine
can be obtained by passing well exams in specialized subjects (chemistry and biology). Several universities supplement this list with TSP and Latin.
TSP is an exam of the applicant's preparedness for learning. You are tested for your ability to process large texts, find even small differences in pictures, and check large amounts of information.
Слайд 10What awaits graduates or the benefits of studying abroad
The Czech Republic, like
any other modern and progressive country, is interested in qualified doctors. Therefore, the state is making great efforts to retain newly minted specialists, creating all kinds of conditions for them.
Слайд 11At the very beginning of your career, a salary of at least
1000 euros awaits you. However, the real earnings in the healthcare sector are much higher. For instance:
the therapist's salary is 1,300 euros;
family doctor - over 2,500 euros;
surgeon - more than 1,300 euros;
cardiologist - 1540-2150 euros;
ophthalmologist - more than 1540 euros;

Clinics in the Czech Republic not only pay for health and pension
insurance, but also provide paid leave, which can last up to 6 weeks, as well as other social benefits. In places where there is an acute shortage of doctors, they can even provide rental housing at “tasty” discounted prices.
