Видеоинформационные системы (ВИС) – это многофункциональные интерактивные системы, обеспечивающие наружное ТВ-вещание, воспроизведение 2D/3D видеоинформации на экранах различных размеров в многолюдных местах как на открытом пространстве (площади, улицы, стадионы и т.п.), так и в закрытых помещениях (залы, торговые центры, метро и т.п.). Места установки экранов и контент ВИС должны регламентироваться. Широкое внедрение ВИС станет самым эффективным средством просмотра заданного ТВ контента, впервые обеспечит массовую экранизацию общества. Working Party 6B, at its October 2001 meeting, approved the outcome from the Rapporteur Group for VIS, with some modifications, to seek the final approval by SG 6. The text is attached in the Annex. Summary This Report is the first Report on “video information systems (VIS),” that refers to multifunctional interactive systems providing high-quality reproduction of video information on screens of varying sizes in populous locations both in the open (squares, streets, stadiums, etc.) and indoors (halls, shopping centres, subway stations, etc.). Luminescent VIS screens can operate both in daylight and in the dark, in any weather and in different climatic conditions. The concept of VIS is a broadening of the broadcasting applications sphere from indoor to outdoor − a development of the same order of significance as the transition from black‑and-white to colour television, and then to 3D. This new stage in the field of TV broadcasting will see a considerable increase in the viewer population and play a major part in the ongoing development of the information society.
